Niagara-on-the-Lake Tree Planting

The Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Niagara-on-the-Lake Communities in Bloom, and the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority (NPCA) are partnering to plant native sapling trees on Town-owned properties. NPCA has agreed to supply saplings in three gallon pots and Niagara-on-the-Lake Communities in Bloom, in association with the Town, will supply mulch and water. Project organizers are looking for eager participants willing to assist with the planting process.

All are welcome to attend!

The morning schedule is as follows:

  • 9:00 a.m. Participants arrive
  • 9:15 a.m. Orientation, planting instructions, education and safety
  • 9:30 a.m. Start planting
  • 11:15 a.m. Complete planting and site clean-up
  • 12:00 p.m. Wrap up

Participants are required to wear appropriate clothing, including gloves and footwear, and are asked to bring their own shovel and bucket. Thank you in advance to all those who will be assisting us in these exciting tree planting projects. We look forward to working with you!
